I'm a noob to minecraft, how do i play

Ok so i just got minecraft on my iphone and i'm just shoveling and breaking through walls and the ground. Is there more to it? Or do you just break walls and stuff?

A LOT more. You can build houses outta wood, cobblestone anything actually. Well, almost anything. Go mining, find diamond and make diamond resources with it. You can build anything you want, if you have the right supplies. Have fun

PC version is a whole lot better. Go on the wiki or Youtube. You can also get a cracked version of Minecraft, legally. Mineshafter. But I got premium, I just used Mineshafter to see if the game is cool. It is. And remember, texture packs!

And if it lags, go on the video settings and be sure to get the render distance down. If it lags, its the computer, not the game.

  • Noob mine crafter needs Well, I've started playing mine craft on my phone today, (iPhone 4). And I was playing survival mode, and I didn't see any zombies at night when I was playing. I went outside my home, and nothing. So I waited till it was dark out again on mine craft, and again, no zombies! Is this normal?
