Can't free up iPhone storage, says 6.4 GB of photos but there only 49 photos?
The bar at the bottom of iTunes displaying my iPhones storage says that photos are taking up 6.4GB but I have unsynced photos (i.e. Unchecked the sync photos box) from my mac. And on the photos app on my phone I only have 40 pictures from the camera, yet its taking up all that space.
I've tried restarting the phone and even wiping it and restoring from backup, but can't free up that 6.4 gb of hidden photos.
Anyone have any idea?
Check your photo stream.
Maybe some are vaulted or hidden delete a vault app if you have any or format your phone
- Trying to transfer pictures from an iPhone 6s to a computer. Device files says there's only 70 images but in the phone, there's over 1000? I've tried backing it up, and going through iCloud. Help. Yes, photos are in camera roll. Robert, did that. Same results.
- My iPhone says there's no sim card installed but there's one? My phone has been working fine but up till a couple days ago, a message popped up saying there wasn't a sim installed. I hadn't touched the sim card at all. I have been turning it off and on and its been my only solution but it keeps happening. Its getting pretty annoying so any ideas?
- My iPhone says that there's headphones plugged in but there isn't? I haven't used the headphone jack in my iPhone for a long time and today out of the blue when ever I try to turn up the volume it says It's adjusting the headphone volume. Is there a way to fix it on my own? I look in the slot and I can see one of the buttons just looks jammed down
- My iPhone says that my Notes is taking up 1.79 GB of storage. I only have 3 notes, and there isn't a lot of text in them. How do I fix this? Recently there were a lot of notes on my phone, but I deleted most of them until there were only three notes left. However, my phone still says my Notes takes up 1.79 GB. I tried writing a really lengthy note to see if the GB would go higher, but it didn't change. I don't want to delete my three remaining notes, which have very little text in them. I doubt that these notes are taking up 1.79 GB. What is the problem here, and how do I fix it?
