My iPhone says there's no sim card installed but there's one?
My phone has been working fine but up till a couple days ago, a message popped up saying there wasn't a sim installed. I hadn't touched the sim card at all. I have been turning it off and on and its been my only solution but it keeps happening. Its getting pretty annoying so any ideas?
Same thing happened to me on Sprint. Call your carrier and give them the # on the SIM card. They will reset this in your account and that message will go away.

I have had my iPhone 3 for a little over a year, and it is hacked to be an AT&T GoPhone and it was in my pocket and I looked at it, and it said "No SIM Card Installed" and I reset the settings, turned it off, etc. I even took the SIM Card out. Nothing at all is working… How do I fix this problem, fast? Did I ruin my phone by taking the card out? Is there anything I can do without opening it up? (I'm willing to open it though) Please, I need a way to fix this!

- IPhone gives me the No SIM Card Installed message. What do I do? I just transferred my SIM card into a friend's iPhone 4, and it says that no SIM card is installed. How do I get it to work? For the record, my sim card is a T-mobile SIM card that worked just fine in my old phone (which was an iPhone 4S).
