Can't receive picture messages on iPhone 5?
I can't receive picture messages over iMessage unless my 4G/LTE is on and I can only send picture messages over iMessage as well. I can't send or receive over MMS. Oh, and even if I'm using iMessage over Wi-Fi, I can't receive picture messages. It MUST be 4G/LTE. Any solutions?
Mine is like this as well, I just assumed I could only do it over my phones data. Now thinking about it I don't have an iMessage account set up on my iPhone, maybe check to make sure that is set up? With your email and everything because I know I used to be able to on my iPod.
- Why do iPhone messages come up as picture messages on other phones? When my friend sends me texts, she has an iphone, they come up as picture messages and i can't revieve them on my phone because my plan doesn't cover picture messages. Can she change the settings so it won't come up as a picture?
- Why can't I send or receive picture messages? I have a unlocked iPhone 3G with t mobile it won't send or receive picture messages I had the same sim card in my other phone and it sent and received them so it has to be this Iphone how do I fix it or can I?
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- My iPhone isn't letting me send/receive picture messages? I don't know what generation it is but it's the one without the front camera only the back. And ever time I send a pic a little red exclamation mark comes out
