When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially?
My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
It has to do with the fact your phone runs Android, probably version 4.0.4. NATIVE Emoji support was introduced in Android 4.4, KitKat. You could download the keyboard called Google Keyboard, which is the stock keyboard. Google Keyboard has emojis, just very few of them. As for the second issue, i'm thinking that has to do with the way text messages are handled in the default messaging app
You could try the app called Hangouts, which is basically the default SMS app in stock Android. It's on the Google Play Store.
- Why won't my emojis send to my twitter through text msgs? I don't want 2 always have 2 open up my twitter app on my iphone just bcuz i want 2 send emojis. But thats what i have to do bcuz when i send my tweets with emojis through text messages to twitter these pop up What's the problem what am i doing wrong? Btw my emoji app is emoji free! And my twitter app is twittelator. I just deleted my old twitter app which was twipple
- Why don't I receive alerts or a notification when I receive a text and I already checked my settings? I adjusted my setting and even put the ringer and notifications on and put the volume and ringer on and I receive no alert, no pop up, alert or notification when someone texts me. Why? This is the iPhone X! I went to the cell phone/ carrier store and they didn't help me. They said to go to the apple store or check the settings. I already adjusted the settings. So what do I do now?
- Why does my iPhone receive messages late when I'm in a group text? I have the iPhone 4s with 16g (I have less than a gig left of space) and am on T-Mobile. Every single time I'm added to a new group text, my phone delays all messages sent to me. Regardless of whether it's another iPhone or if they're on the same carrier as me, none of my messages get to me until an hour or so later. Is it because I'm low on space? Or is it T-Mobile (probably the worst carrier I've ever had by the way)? Or is it the iPhone software?
- Why do I receive text messages and missed calls on my old Iphone. How do I stop this? When someone calls me on my new phone, it shows up as "missed call from ___".It doesn't ring on my on my old phone, but after I answer the call on my new phone, it says missed call on the old phone, if that makes sense. I receive text messages from people on my old iphone as well. I use it as my iPod because it could drain the life out of my new phone, so I don't necessarily want to reset the entire phone. I have cellular data off and I'm with Verizon.
