Can they take my phone back if i paid for it?
I payed 200 so far on a iphone 7 it was under my ex girlfriend name, i promise to pay he back for it but she treated to take it back and she threated me about it. I don't know what to do since i paid some of it, and i don't have money to pay for another phone
If it is in her name it belongs to her
You paid the monthly charge while you used the phone. You didn't buy an interest in the phone itself. You must return it to her and find a way to obtain a different one.
- Can I use my sprint phone with another carrier if it isn't paid off? I current have a iphone through sprint but the plan is pretty expensive. I'm thinking about switching to boost mobile. Can I use my sprint phone with boost mobile even though i haven't paid it off with sprint yet?
- Can they get into the phone if they know the passcode when it's in lost mode? I had an iPhone with a passcode and it and it got stolen by someone I know. But they know the passcode to get in the phone. If the phone is in lost mode, can they still open the phone with the passcode? Or you you have to disable it through Find my IPhone? I won't report this person but I want to make sure they can't use the phone, even if they have it.
- If you buy something from someone can they take it back? So my dad sold me an iphone 5s for $30… & everytime he gets mad he says "i'm gonna take the phone back" & i say "you can't because i bought if from you" & then he says "ill give you your 30 bucks back". Can he do that legally? Because i bought the phone and he does not pay the phone bill
- If I terminate my AT&T contract will they take my iPhone back or do I keep it? Some are saying they will cut my 4g service or may be I will not be able to use any phone features. What does that mean? Since I wan to switch to prepaid service of another company, can I use this phone (Iphone 5) with the new sim?
