If you buy something from someone can they take it back?
So my dad sold me an iphone 5s for $30… & everytime he gets mad he says "i'm gonna take the phone back" & i say "you can't because i bought if from you" & then he says "ill give you your 30 bucks back". Can he do that legally? Because i bought the phone and he does not pay the phone bill
Of course he can do that, you don't own anything unless you are paying your own rent, your own electric, your own food, etc.
If you are a minor, yes he can.
The details are irrelevant. If you are a minor, you own nothing. If you are living under his roof, you have to follow his rules and he can do what he wants. If you do not like it, move out once you reach the age of majority.
Things are different when you're a minor, and he's your parent. It doesn't become fully "normal" until you're 18 and an adult.
In the meantime, he can take the phone from you, and he doesn't even have to give you your money back, especially if he can justify his action as being in your best interests.
- Would You Say Something If You Saw Someone Being Pick Pocketed? Yes or no? I was pick pocketed on Monday and a man was kind enough to help me out and get my iphone off the thief who was very brazen as the street I was walking on was very busy.
- When you buy something online do they tax you? I order some clothes from plndr.com and didn't tax me. Weird and I order some shoes from zappos.com and they didn't tax me. Weird. And I had a few dollars left in my debit card and I bought a case for my iPhone. I bought the case from amazon and the shipper was from china(hong kong) and they still didn't tax me. Weird. Lol. So why aren't they taxing me?
- What happens when you block someone on an iPhone 6, and they text you or call you? Specifically, does the phone keep ringing or does it say the call can't be made? Does the text deliver and just never show up on the receiving phone, or does the sender get a message saying the text can't be sent? (The other phone is not an iPhone.)
- Regarding sending something back with a warranty and returning something broken to a seller on amazon? I ordered a charger for my iPhone and it comes with a 18 month worry free warranty and my charger broke. So I was wondering can I return it to the seller in a envelope in my mailbox and same thing for the other thing that is broken. like or do I have to go to ups and ship it like that
