Yes you can. Depending on if you have a GSM carrier or CDMA carrier (which you failed to mention), it works differently. If you have a GSM carrier, you can just take out the SIM card from your Android Phone and put it into your iPhone.
But since you mentioned Droid, and only Verizon uses the term Droid (which they actually PAY Lucasfilms for the right to use and no other provider can use that name, Droid phones are Android, but Android =/= Droid since not all Android phones are Droids), Verizon (and Sprint as well as all other CDMA carriers), you will have to call customer service, do it online, or at a store to make the switch since they use ESN #s to activate a phone.
