Most iphone 5 for Verizon come factory unlocked. The person below doesn't know what they are talking about. I've been in wireless sales for 18 years and I sell cell phones on ebay as well. Most of the Verizon's come factory unlocked. Sprint Att and tmobile do not. Verizon almost always are. I've sold and used many Verizon iPhones on Att. They have gsm and cdma capability built inside.
