Can you rate my singing please?

Hey guys so i'm going to an audition next month and part of it i have to sing two songs (of my own choosing) and i've decided to sing 'we're the champions' by Queen and 'out there' from disney's the hunchback of Notre Dame. But i've never really been judged on solo singing (since i only really sing to myself) and would love to know how i sound by other people. So, i've recorded myself (acapella) singing 'out there' just on an iPhone recording and it would mean so much to hear what you think of it and what i need to improve on.

It's only an audio recording on youtube.

here's the link:

I like how you've put in dynamics (loud and soft) -- so many people forget to do that! And I heard some nice vibrato (the kind of pulsing that your voice does when you hold a note out) too!

The biggest thing I noticed for improvement was that you seem to have a hard time staying on pitch. Meaning, the notes you are singing aren't always the right ones -- sometimes you are singing too high or too low. Could you record yourself singing along with the recording from the movie? That might help you (and us) hear when you are off pitch. If after that you still can't tell when you are off pitch, practice playing one note on a piano (or if you don't have a piano, you can use this site: http://www.virtualpiano.net/ ) and singing, then moving your voice up and down to try to match the note you are hearing.

Also, your voice tone seems kind of nasal at times. Open your throat up as if there was an egg in your throat. If you are doing it right, you should get the sense that you need to yawn. Keeping your throat open like this while you are singing helps the tone come out clearer, prettier, and more mature.
