Can you track a stolen/missing iPhone 4S?
I recently lost my iPhone 4S, it is from sprint and It has a SIM card. I had the "find my iPhone" turned on but that can be turned off. I called and they don't answer. I tried to track it but I get nothing. I'm guessing they turned off the "find my iPhone" and signed me out of the iTunes account. Before I call sprint and report the missing phone and ask to have it removed from my account, is there a way I can track it?
Are you sure you tried tracking it correctly? Did you go to icloud.com and logged in with your Apple ID? If Find my iPhone isn't working, then there's not much more you can do.
P.S. In Sprint and Verizon iPhone 4S, the SIM card is only used if the phone is outside the USA. Within the USA the SIM's not used and it's not active.
You should try calling the Apple store and ask that question. But you should check to see your sprint account online and see where and when was the last call made. Then you can see if something is using your phone or not.
- Why can't they track the iPhones (Smartphones) of the people on missing plane? Many of them would have one and also activated locate my iPhone application. And they say your movement can be tracked on smart phones.
- My iphone has been stolen is there anyway i can track it? I went out last night and my iphone got stolen, is there any way i can get it back by tracking it? I know about the apps you can get on your phone but unfortunately i didn't have them installed on my phone. i heard about some website where you can just put in your serial number and it will show you where the ohone was last turned on any help would be awesome apple and my provider service can't do much.
- My iPhone 5 is missing/stolen? I had my phone stolen at Walmart yesterday and i thought i downloaded the find my iphone app but apparently i never did. If i file a police report and contact ATT would they be able to help in any way? I don't know what to do I know i have to do that but would they realistically be able to do anything for me? Could they track the IMEI number and locate it
- Iphone 4s stolen Can i still track it? So my iphone 4S got stolen about 6 hours ago and i'm super pissed. I have i cloud on it, but whenever i try to find my phone it says "last seen 6 hours ago" at the same spot i was, If the thief were to restore my iphone could i still track it? Or if they were to use Wi-Fi?
