Can't get Photos off my IPhone onto my computer
I have three usb ports on my laptop and I don't understand why none of them are allowing me to get photos off of my IPhone 4 and into a folder onto my computer. Every time I plug it in it says no photos found. I click on the link to my IPhone folder and tell it to download pictures and it still says there are none. I open the folder and it is empty. My phone has thousands of photos I have taken on it and I'm so confused! This is so frustrating, if anyone knows how to fix it please help!

- How do I get pictures off my iPhone and onto my computer? Is there an easy way to transfer photos taken on my iPhone onto my computer? I'm worried that if I click the option to sync the phone with iPhoto, it will just put all those photos on the phone instead of taking pictures off of it.
- If i sync my iPhone to my computer will it take my photos off my phone and put them on the computer? I need to have my phone synced for the app zedge but i don't want my photos to be taken off my phone. There's this bar and on it it says photos, app, ect. And next to it is a little button that says sync. So IIm guessing it will take my photos. But i don't want that to happen but i need to sync my phone. Is there anyway i can do it without having my pictures going on to the computer?
- How to transfer a large amount of photos off of my iphone and onto my computer? I have 9300 pictures exactly on my iphone and It won't let me sinc the photos or download them to iphoto on my computer because I have too many, they take up all the memory. I really don't want to loose them and I have no idea how to get them off. I don't use Icloud, should I or is there something else I should try because it takes to long to send them individually
- How to save DVD files onto my computer than transfer them onto iTunes? I recently bought Green Day's "Bullet in a Bible" and "Awesome As ***" as well as All Time Low's "Straight to DVD." Since I have the physical copies, I would like to save the DVD files onto my computer so that I could transfer them onto iTunes and eventually sync them onto my iPhone. I just can't figure it out.
