Cao I buy a nokia lumia 1020 64gb from europe and unlock it for usa?

I want to get the nokia lumia, but after hearing there's no micro sd card (much like Iphone) I was skeptical, I found out that there was a 64gb version out for telefonica in europe… If I buy that one, can I unlock it and use it on t-mobile or at&t?
