Clearing text message history on iPhone?
I just bought an iPhone 4 from a 3rd party seller that also unlocked the phone. It has some contacts in it but I deleted them all. But now when I go to create a new message there still there
None of those names or numbers are mine. What can I do? I don't think I can restore the phone due to it being unlocked by a 3rd party seller and I don't want to get the "apple logo of death". Thanks!

It's an unlocked phone. It's for AT&T but I'm using it for T-Mobile. I heard if I restore I can no longer use it with the sim I have or I will get stuck on the boot logo.
You have to restore it through iTunes. Don't worry about it being locked tho, that just means its locked to a specific carrier( like at&t or verizon) it has nothing to do with wiping the user data.
- Will my message be delivered if sent as text message on iphone? My friend said that she was having phone problems earlier today. My message was being sent as an imessage, but I guess she wasn't receiving everyone of them, just getting the notifications that they were sent to her but she couldn't read them. I then responded to her, but it was sent as a text message this time and i have gotten no response. I'm not as much concerned about her responding or not, I just want to know if she will receive the message.
- Upgrading to ios 6.will i lose text message history? This is my first time with an iphone and my first os upgrade. I back my iphone up through itunes but will i lose my text message history or is it backed up as well? I did a back up 15 minutes ago. I guess, here goes nothing!
- Run-time memory-clearing application for iphone? I have iPhone 3GS 6.0.1, and it kept slowing and freezing even after reset or restart. It wasn't like this before. They said i should try installing run-time memory-clearing application, but i don't know any app. Anyone knows any run-time memory-clearing app that's free?
- How to stop iphone from clearing website data? I'm not sure how it happened, might have been an accident or the new update, but my website data seems to clear itself on iphone, is there any way to make it stay? I was trying a while ago to free up space and might have messed with something, could anyone help?
