Upgrading to ios 6.will i lose text message history?
This is my first time with an iphone and my first os upgrade. I back my iphone up through itunes but will i lose my text message history or is it backed up as well?
Added (1). I did a back up 15 minutes ago. I guess, here goes nothing!
No you won't lose any texts or messages or settings but a backup is still recommended.
I have done the update and everything was fine.
- Will my message be delivered if sent as text message on iphone? My friend said that she was having phone problems earlier today. My message was being sent as an imessage, but I guess she wasn't receiving everyone of them, just getting the notifications that they were sent to her but she couldn't read them. I then responded to her, but it was sent as a text message this time and i have gotten no response. I'm not as much concerned about her responding or not, I just want to know if she will receive the message.
- Will I lose my Whatsapp chat history if I updated my iPhone OS version? I'm using an iPhone 3GS with iOS 4+ and I've been wanting to update to iOS 5+ for a long time, but I'm afraid of losing all my Whatsapp conversations once I update. Will I really lose all my chat history? And if so, is there anyway I can easily backup the chats?
- How do you hide the senders name of a text message on iPhone but still show a notification for a new message? My parents are really protective and don't want me texting boys (I'm 18). And if I do they always get mad or start asking me questions. Is there a way to hide who the sender of a message is on an iPhone but still show a notification that you have a new message?
- Does upgrading to iOS 7 beta 3 make you lose a GSM unlock? I'm using AT&T GSM 16 GB iPhone 4 currently running iOS 6.1.2 If it does make you lose it, is there anyway to get it back? I have a factory unlock through itunes, not a jailbroken unlock Well i unlocked and i'm definitely using a factory unlock that i had to pay for and then unlock through itunes, so you are saying my unlock should not be affected?
