Could my iPhone 5s be water damaged? Or am I just an idiot?
It was pouring while I was in the car, and when I got out, I ran to the door of my house like anyone would. I then realized I left my iPhone in the car. I ran outside again to get my phone, then I saw it on the ground in the rain. I quickly picked it up and ran inside to dry it.
The phone seems to still work fine. Nothing seems to be wrong with it. It had a case on it and screen protectors on the front and back of the phone. I have it on the charger right now, and it's charging fine. There's nothing that doesn't seem to be working, but could it still be water damaged? I've always taken good care of it- no scratches, no marks. I need to know, because I plan on selling it in the future.
It's mostly likely fine but if you really want to be sure stick it in a container of rice overnight. The rice draws out the water.
- Water damaged iPhone 4g? - 2 So my iphone was on a table by a pool and people splashed on it and it sorta got soaked, its working a little but when you shut it off it turns back on, its in rice it happened about an hour ago what should i do i know people said not to charge it so it doesn't fry but anything else? Also how long should i leave it in rice? Please no rude comments like you shouldnt of left it on the table.
- Music app broken in iOS 7? Or am I just an idiot? I was trying to make more room on my iPhone 4S by deleting songs and I noticed a very annoying problem. When in the music app and I tapped a song in the list, it would choose a random track, usually near the top of the list. Sometimes when in the "Now Playing" screen, and I attempted to skip to the next track, it will take me to one of the first songs I have. Any help?
- I could get the iPhone 5s in like 3 weeks but I could get the 5c tommorow? I could get the 5s in a few weeks and I love it but I also really like the iPhone 5c and I could get a great otter box case for it or get the 5s but that would take 3 more weeks. What should I do?! And the 5c is still great right? Because a lot of people still have the 4s. And please don't say wait for the 6 because I'm not
- How much could I sell a water damaged iPhone 5 for? I got the iPhone 5 as an upgrade the day it came out and stupidily have put it through the washing machine! I have had it in a bag of rice for the past 24hours but still will not turn on, as it's not insured I'm going to have to buy a new one! How much could I sell the damaged phone for? (£') I have the box and everything that came with it!
