Music app broken in iOS 7? Or am I just an idiot?

I was trying to make more room on my iPhone 4S by deleting songs and I noticed a very annoying problem. When in the music app and I tapped a song in the list, it would choose a random track, usually near the top of the list. Sometimes when in the "Now Playing" screen, and I attempted to skip to the next track, it will take me to one of the first songs I have.

Any help?

There are certain songs I can no longer delete.

Do you have shuffle set on so that it randomly shuffles and selects a track?

  • Why is my music broken on iOS 7? When ever I put a song on, lock my iphone (4s), and put it in my pocket, then unlock it to do something else, the song will skip and return to the part of the song that i locked my phone at. Example. I lock my phone 4 minutes into the song, and then unlock it 8 minutes into the song, it will skip back to 4 minutes in. Anyone know what's causing this? And Am I the only person with this problem?
  • When apple replaces a broken iphone, do you get to keep the old broken one? The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.
  • Just got a replacement Iphone for my broken one: how do i get my music/photos back? My old iphone 4s broke, so i just received my "new" replacement one. After restoring it i retrieved all my old contacts and apps, but my music and photos, with the exception of a few old pictures, have yet to appear. My old iphone, being broken, won't stay powered on for more than a second or so. If my old iphone has a sim card or something, do i take it out and put it in the new one to transfer all my old content?
  • I just wiped my iPhone 5c to factory settings. IOS 10 tells me to press home to start setup. My home button is broken. What do I do? IPhone 5c does not have touch ID and I'm at the setup screen with no working home button to press to start setup:/
