Cricket iPhone 4S can't be activated?
So I bought an iphone on Craigslist, on general, about, it says network: cricket. Carrier: cricket 14.0. I tried to activate it online but I only got to where you choose a plan and a message says to call cricket support to activate it. I took it to a cricket store and they said they couldn't activate it. Then they said it was a flashed phone and they didn't activate flashed phones. I checked the MEID on checkesnfree.com and it is a clean esn for cricket. I called the cricket support number and they transferred me to the iphone support team and they couldn't activate it. One said that it was still active, another said it wouldn't let him, another said that they couldn't activate that phone. I asked why and they wouldn't give me an answer just that it wouldn't let them. When I try to make a call from the iphone a machine from American roaming service answers and says if I want to make a collect call to a land line phone etc using a pin to press 1 etc. The phone should automatically send me to cricket not that machine. On the top of the phone it has service bars and says cricket. It can't be a flashed phone if it has cricket on top. The phone number on the iphone is a fake number, its 555-555-1137, i google that are code and it does not exist, its a fake. Any number i dial either to make a call or to display information from the phone, it sends me to that stupid machine. I try voice mail its that stupid machine that answers. I need help activating this phone, I try to google for answers but I find nothing no matter what I search.
Flashed means they had it for either sprint version or metro. It's not fake. Sell the iPhone get one thats not flashed (NEW)
- My iPhone 6s plus carrier is cricket 26.1 but when I use the cricket sim it does not work. What is up with that? It use to be a t-mobile carrier but after I tried to unlock it with the cricket sim, the carrier suddenly changed to cricket 29.1 but it still did not work.
- Iphone says your iphone can't be activated bc the activation server is temporarily unavailable? I called the carrier i have and they said to reset my phone so i did it still just says this i can't even use my phone what do i do
- Can you use an already activated straighttalk sim card in an iPhone 3GS? I have a Nokia e71 right now and I was wondering if I can just use it's sim card in an iPhone 3GS
- Can you text on the iPhone without it being activated? My dad gave me his iPhone4 but it's not activated so I use it as as a iPod. Can you still text your friends on it even though it's not activated?
