Cydia won't start up on newly jailbroken iPhone 4?
I just jailbroke my iphone 4 with redsn0w and I started up the cydia app and it keeps saying it's "Preparing file system" and that cydia will exit when complete. Eventually it does exit and goes back to my lock screen but when I go to open cydia it does the same thing all over. What should I do?
Try closing Cydia from the app drawer (double click the home button, then press and hold the Cydia app until it jiggles, then tap the red minus sign. Restart the app. If the problem persists, restart your iPhone. And if that doesn't work, your jailbreak might be corrupted, and I suggest you do it over.
- What will happen to apps installed via cydia if I will delete cydia? I jailbroken the iphone for the purpose of installing an app which is not available in appstore. Now I do not need cydia anymore, I can delete it by deleting its packages. But what will happen to the app that is installed using cydia if I will remove cydia?
- What language should I start with to start developing iOS apps? If I want to develop iPhone apps, should I learn Python first or just go straight to objective C or learn something else? I have 0 programming skills and have only done some web development. I have a Mac and Xcode.
- My iPhone is jailbroken and won't start up? So yesterday, I jailbroke my device and started adding tweaks to it. And I've been using it the whole day; no problems at all. But just as I put my phone down and plugged it to its charger, it kept making the respring/rebooting noise. And since then its stuck at a dull apple logo and won't turn on?
