Deleting email in gmail instead of archiving?
In iOS 7 gmail on my iPhone 5s wants to archive mail instead of deleting it. I don't like this & I want to know if it can be changed?
Follow these steps in order:
1) Click on the icon "Settings".
2) Click on "Mail, Contacts, Calendar".
3) Click on the mail account you want to modify.
4) Click in the "Account".
5) Press "Advanced".
6) Find the "Move messages discarded to"
7) Select "Mailbox Trash" if you want to delete the emails. Or choose "Mail Archive" if you want to save a copy of the emails.
8) Click "<Account" to return to the previous screen.
9) Click "OK" to save the changes.
That's it. Luck.
