Do I always have to buy songs from the iTunes store?
I'm going to buy an iPhone and I'm an android user. I was wondering if I will always have to 'buy' songs from the store or can I download it or transfer it too? Please help. Is there a different method of adding songs to your IPhone?
If you have, for example, an mp3 collection of songs, you will be able to add them to iTunes, you just have to get them onto the iPhone's hard drive, that's the slightly tricky part… No convenient USB ports…
You could transfer your songs to Dropbox or some similar cloud-storage service, and then download them to your iPhone, for example. So yes, you can download songs from wherever and add them to iTunes (mp3 is ok, other formats might not be…).
You can illegally download them on your PC and then connect your iPhone to the PC and transfer the songs, or sync the iPhone.
If you already have mp3 files then just add them to your itunes song list and copy to the phone, I do that all the time.
No. You have to put them on the iPhone through iTunes but they don't have to come through the iTunes Store. A common misconception of iPhones.
If you have CDs for example you could rip the tracks using iTunes & sync them to the iPhone.
- Where is the best place to buy an iPhone 4s: the Verizon store or the Apple store? I don't have an upgrade until January but am looking to buy an iPhone soon. I've been looking at the various sites and saw that there was a huge price difference between the Apple and Verizon stores. A rep at the Verizon store told me I wouldn't even have to change my existing plan, but just pay the $449 for the phone. Why would I buy an iPhone 4s from Verizon for $449.99 when they're sold on the Apple website for $99?
- Should I buy my iPhone at the Apple Store or the Verizon store? The plans and the phones themselves cost the exact same; the difference is the care plan. I just can't decide which one is best for me and I definitely want some sort of plan. Apple care is an upfront cost, but it is cheaper. I don't know how long either last, or which one takes care of the customers the best. Any opinions?
- ITunes won't download all the songs to my iphone 6s after transffering my list of songs from my old macbook to my PC I transferred my list of songs from my old Macbook to my PC with iTunes. For some reason, iTunes won't download ALL the songs to my iPhone 6s from my PC. For example if I want to download a whole album it will only download few songs from that album. Anyone know how to fix this problem? I also noticed how long it takes to download just few songs from my PC to my iphone 6s which is really frustrating.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
