Do I need a sim card for the iPhone 5?
So my iPhone 5 came in today (T-Mobile) and I'm extremely confused. Does the sim card come pre installed? And if so, how do I get it working? I'm not getting the "no SIM card installed" message so does that mean it is?
The messages took me to something in the setting that told me to enter my number. Is that what I have to do to get it working? Sorry. I'm just really confused…
Added (1). I guess that thing in the settings isn't because it won't let me make a call…

- Locked iPhone and need sim card to use because I restarted it but i don't have the specific sim I need. Please i'm desperate? Ok so my aunt got me an iPhone from Canada but its sim locked and it says I need to insert a sim card for it to work. The problem is i don't have a sim from that specific company that locked it and the only thing I can do is emergency calls and all that. I can't even use it as an iTouch or something.

- Changing from normal sim card to iPhone 4 sim card? I'm an AT&T customer with a smart phone. I'm wanting to buy an iPhone 4 but I know they take smaller sim cards than normal phones. If I buy an iPhone from an individual, can I take it to AT&T and have them give me a smaller sim card & transfer my information? Would I have to pay extra for it? Is it even possible?
- Can you use an old sim card in a new iPhone after transferring the info to a new sim card? I'm borrowing an iPhone from a friend, but it requires a sim card. He transferred all his information to a new sim card in a different phone. Can I use the old sim card on a different iPhone?
