Do ipad and iPhone messages sync?
Ok so I have an ipad and an iPhone and I was wondering if my messages that I send people on my phone go to the ipad? I haven't seen any messages like that but my messages from my ipad go to my phone which I don't care about I just don't want my phone messages going to ipad
If they're using the same imessage id then yes
IPhone and iPad generally don't sync messages unless they are being sent via iMessage to another Apple device. There are two ways to prevent this; you can have two separate iTunes accounts. One for each device. Or you can turn off iMessages on your phone and just use regular messages.
- What use is an ipad or ipad mini to someone with an iphone and macbook? I'm thinking of getting an ipad mini or ipad 2 for someone who already has an iphone 5 and macbook pro. I don't know how useful it will be since they are not likely to use it outside of their home and i'll be getting the non 3g version so it won't be much use when they take it out anyway.

- New iTunes 11 won't sync iPhone and iPad properly? Ever since I updated to the new iTunes 11 a couple days ago. The apps don't sync properly within the two devices. It used to be that whenever I deleted an app from itunes it would automatically erase it from both of my devices. Now even if I delete a few apps they will still be on them and I have to go in them and manually delete them, its not that big of a deal but its a huge pet peeve.
