Do the smart watches work with the older iphones?
I see that there's cheap smart watches that i can connect to a apple device but i was wondering if they work with the older iphone like the iphone 4 that is on ios 7.1.2?

- When do US carriers (AT&T, Verizon, etc) lower the price of older model iPhones? Usually when a new iPhone comes out, the previous years model gets discounted by about $100. Does this price change usually happen when the new iPhone is announced, or is the price drop not effective until a few weeks later when the new model actually becomes available for sale?

I'm looking for an iphone or smart phone but I'm on a deffinate (up to about £70 or so) so I was thinking of buying one of the older models used. I want one that I can use for: going on the internet, reading manga and preferably snapchat, but otherwise I don't mind. Also, any tips for buying them second hand and what to look for when buying would be welcome.
