Does iCloud storage use iPhones storage?
Okay here's my question, I have an 8GB iPhone 4 and I have iCloud turned on.iCloud uses 5GB of storage (unless you buy more, that is). I was taking a look at my apps, and it doesn't seem that all my apps/pictures/music take up the 6.3GB of iPhone storage (it goes from 8GB to 6.3GB due to installing system updates) does iCloud use 5 GB from the 6.3? Or does iCloud have a separate 5GB?

No.iCloud's storage is stored in the cloud (hence the name) as in online, not on the device itself.
- Why does my iPhone sometimes send texts to other iPhones as iMessages then regular texts to iPhones? Like when I send a text to my friend that has an iphone, it usually sends as an iMessage then it will randomly send as just a regular text and it will be green and not blue.
- On the I cloud on the Iphone what does total storage and available storage mean? Basically it says total storage 5gb and availible storage 5 gb. Does that mean there's already 5 gb of files on the Icloud?
- IPhone storage full but iCloud storage not? I'm in the Navy and I'm going on deployment soon so, I'm racking up on stuff like movies and music so I won't be bored during deployment… I'm 3 seasons in on downloading stuff on Netflix and it says my storage is full… I deleted a lot of useless apps and music already and I downloaded a few more then it happened again… I see my iCloud storage is very empty but my phone storage is too full… How can I fix this.
- If I get more iCloud storage does that mean I have more space to download apps, music etc? Recently got an iPhone and it's only 8gb and I've hardly got anything on it and its saying storage full help me
