Does IOS 6.0.1 cause any problems for the iphone 4?
I'm currently on IOS 5.0.1 and heard 6.0.1 can cause the phone to be wiped.
Should i chance updating it?
Updating to the latest version of iOS neither causes problems for nor wipes the iPhone 4.

Latest updates are always better so I guess it won't do any problem. My iphone 3GS runs ios 6.0.1 smoothly… So I guess you should update it
The update just released is 6.1. I just updated my iPod touch, don't notice any problems, same as before. My iPod touch 4th gen is lesser than your iPhone 4, and it works fine, should be fine on yours. Its mostly a bug fix / security update with some very minor features added that absolutely doesn't concern me.
Not sure if everybody got this or because my account wasn't "complete" but there were a bunch of security related screens that asked me to create security questions and backup email address, looks like what you get when you first setup your phone from the store, no doesn't wipe the phone.
iOS6 performs better than iOS5.

So I got an iphone 5 case at tjmax and when I bought my case it said a warning on the box of my case which said "this case has chemical products and it's known in the state of California that It can cause cancer, birth defection, and harm. What does that mean? What shouldn't I do with my case so that none of those warnings happen?

I was wondering if ordering an off brand (amazon) iPhone 6s Plus screen and letting someone who knows how to replace it to replace it. But since it's off brand, will it affect other things in my phone or will it just be more vulnerable to break?
