Does iphone 6 really break easily?

Nah. I think apple recalled most of those bendy models. My fwb has a iphone 6 and it seems pretty strong to me.
Here is the funny thing, samsung made fun of the iphone bending when it first came out, then apparently didn't even check their own phone because its worse. Karma? This is from Forbes site:

Which meant Sqauretrade could sign off its video with "so, is this bendgate 2? No. But for Samsung fans it may be worse, instead of a bent phone, they may have a pocket full of glass.
"Bendgate" is probably what you're referring to, and only impacted the iphone 6 plus (which I've had since release day, and it has not bent, warped, or broken) - the whole thing was VERY overplayed.
As far as breaking glass goes, like any phone, if you drop the thing face down, there's a solid chance the glass cracks. People can talk up gorilla glass all they want, but it's not kevlar - it can and does sometimes break.
