Does rice help after my iphone got dropped in the toilet?
Yup, i dropped it into the toilet. Lol… It's not the new iphone but the iphone 3g and everybody online says hey! Take out the battery, take off the back, and let it sit in rice! But if you have an iphone, you know you can't take out the battery… So do i just put the whole thing in rice? Do i take out the sim card and the sim card holder thing? It took me about an hour after it fell in the toilet to put it in rice (because we didn't have any, so we had to go get some), does this affect the chances of my phone not working? And how long should i keep it in rice? Some people say 2 hours, some say 3 days, some say 1 week. So i don't know! Any help would be amazing! This phone is my life guys! I have reminders, and events, and tasks that i only remember because of my iphone and i don't have enough money to buy the newer iphone.
Try to save up some of those "do not eat" packets that you find in several types of packaging. They're made to suck out moisture.
Not really, it just depends if you had damage or not. Rice doesn't "reverse" damage.
