My iPhone 6S dropped in water, will the rice help the keyboard? READ DETAILS

So it fell in water and I didn't turn it off right away until my brother told me to. So when I tried to text my friend the keyboard was typing random letters then I restarted the phone and now I can't even use the keyboard. Will the rice help the keyboard?

Unless it's still dripping wet, then no. Rice just helps draw water out of the phone faster. Also, it has a chance to attract Asians to fix your electronics.

  • IPHONE DROPPED IN WATER. Red dot, i've already done rice treatment CAN I FIX ON MY OWN? I accidentally dropped my iPhone in water. i placed it in rice for 3 days and its working EXCEPT FOR ONE PROBLEM. The phone won't charge. There's a small, faint red dot in the charging port on my iPhone. Ti read on the apple website to go to the store, and That the warranty doesn't cover if the red dot appears. so can i fix this on my own? Please Help! I need the phone to do my job. And i don't have the time or the money to get it to the store and pay for this.
  • IPHONE 5C WATER DAMAGE? Will putting it in rice help it? I dropped my phone 5c in water and didn't notice so it sat there for quite a while… But when I took it out it was working perfectly fine! I put it in rice and checked it again two hours later and it said that the battery had died. I plugged it in and it was charging like usual so I figured there was nothing wrong with it, I kept it in the rice anyways. Six hours later I took it out again and the screen won't turn on, and it does not respond to charging it either.
