Does this iPhone Battery look damaged?
I just did a self repair and after a replacement of home button and speaker enclosure, I began have charging issues after i reassembled everything back. Atm, the phone will only indicate the apple logo once it is plugged in to usb charger and turn itself back off after several seconds (the phone is unable to turn on by itself/charge, hence it is impossible to do dfu mode or resets)
As shown on image, the battery appears to have slightly been punctured (during repair), but I'm not too sure if this is what contributes to the charging issue. Initially, there was no issue with the battery before the repair, which is why I'm speculating whether this is the problem or not.
So before I try to order a new battery, I want to seek a bit of input from what people think may be the cause of the issue, because, otherwise, i may resort to contemplating whether the issue is caused by the prong connections on the motherboard or the dock socket.)

The battery looks damaged to me, but there's no way for us to know if that is what is causing the charging issues. Take it in to an Apple store or an electronics store near you and ask them for advice about it.
It definitely looks damaged in your pic. Maybe you shorted out something when you did the self repair which caused the damage. If you punctured it you must replace it. Take it all to a friendly phone repairman
- Look good in mirror VS look bad in pictures? Why is it that I look perfectly fine in the mirror but when I take a picture with my iPhone i look so bad. I just wanna know which one I look like in person, the mirror or the selfie.
- Is what we look in the mirror or the camera more how we actually look? Whenever I look in the bathroom mirror, I look good, but whenever I take a picture of myself, my bad skin and oily skin show more and my face shape looks uneven and I look like I have a huge forehead. I just took it with my iPhone with no filter on. Is the camera or the mirror more real?
- IPhone 5 staying at same battery % please look? Soy iPhone 5 will not say when it's charged. As of right now it is "stuck" at 9% it hasn't moved from 9% in like 2 hours and I let my phone charge overnight and still says 9%. My phone is obviously more charged than that but the icon itself is broken and won't tell me when my phones almost dead because it stays at the same %. Any ideas?
- How come my teeth look crooked in photos but look straight in the mirror? I know the mirror is the opposite reflection of yourself but they look good in the mirror very straight teeth… But when i take a picture they look all messed up, there's no fu*** way that my teeth could be have a drastic change like they do from the mirror to the photos… With pictures i'm taking them with my iPhone 4.
