Dropped iPhone 5 in the toilet, still works?
I dropped my phone in the toilet this morning (oops) minutes before I had to catch the train for school. It was in there for literally a second or two, not more! I dried it with a towel and my hair dryer on the lowest setting (I now know that was a stupid idea).
As far as I know, it's still working properly, but I'm at school and can't put it in rice or anything.
Should I worry about charging it or plugging my earphones in?
It'll stop working soon. I'd suggest turning it off right now, and take out the battery.
And don't hold it over the toilet again; I'm still surprised how many people do this and then say they accidentally dropped it in.
I don't think you should. My friend has dropped hers in the bath about 3 times and it worked fine! I dropped mine in my Noddles. I don't know how that happened!
