Dropped my iPhone 4 in the toilet and?

I was pulling my pants down To go tinkle and I heard it drop. I totally forgot it was in my back pocket. I immediately got it out and started to dry it with a towel. I tried to turn it on but it would go on! I shook it to try to get water out but none would come out. I can see the water through the camera. I read that putting it in rice would work so I put it in rice. This happened to my sister too and she put hers under a hot lamp. A while ago. And it works fine now. So I put in while still in the rice under a lamp. My aunt told me to leave it under the heater still in the rice over night so it can dry out. Again it is STILL in the rice & under the heater. The heater goes on and off during the night but its like right under the heater. Do you think it will work again? My mom has no idea this happen and she'll kill me if it never works again. It's brand new! Got any other advice? Please?

Don't worry love. I have dropped a million electronics in water and that technique has worked all times. If this doesn't work you can get it fixed don't worry man.

I don't have a iphone so i'm not to sure, my brother has a blackberry and the rice trick worked, even just putting it in rice, we didn't use a heat lamp.
i'm just not to sure about the iphone since the batter can't be removed, i think you need to remove the battery and put it into the rice.id try and turn it on in the morning, if that doesn't work leave it in for a few more hours or the day.hopefully it works!

Bury it in a bag of rice

Use a hair dryer, keeping it continuously near heater may cause unwanted issues, if you are good at dismantling it, even you can do it by yourself, control the heat of the hair dryer and dry it.
