Found Iphone 5, what to do with it?
I recently found an iphone 5. I tried to see which phone provider this person had so I could return it to them, however, I found that this is an international phone so I have no idea how to return it back to the person. What else can I do? If nobody claims it am I able to sell it?
Added (1). Also this person has reported their phone missing so the sim is locked and I can't get into the phone to reach any of their contacts to let them know either.
Take it to the police station. If you try to sell it, you will be guilty of possession of stolen goods. They may not catch you, but if they are looking for that phone, they will.
Maybe they will try calling the number, if you have it turned on, otherwise hand it in.
