Has anyone had any problems with their iphone 4s after updating to the ios6 software?

I'm not sure if to upgrade to the ios6 software on my iphone 4s. I'm thinking if it is not broken why fix it. So will it mess up my navigation system and any other location based apps?

I would stick with iOS 5 for now because there are many bugs to be fixed in iOS 6. For example, the maps are mot right because they sometimes give the wrong directions and the 3d is all messed up. The App Store keeps crashing. The passbook doesn't work. It slows down the phone.

My family has 5 iPhone 4S's and as of now and after the update & I mean all the iPhones. The music app keeps freezing when we scroll to browse through our music. All my high school buds have the same problem with theirs… I'm not sure if you have the same. But if 5 iphones at once have the same problems after 1 update I'm assuming that everyone else is also have the same issue.

  • Problems updating software on iPhone? I recently attempted to update the software on my iPhone from IOS 5.0 to 5.1. However, after iTunes backed up my phone and extracted the old software, it forcefully ejected my phone from the program. When I attempt to turn the phone, it tells me to plug it into iTunes, as there's currently no software on the phone, but iTunes no longer recognizes the phone as a device. Any suggestions on how I could put the software back on my phone so I can use it without having to go to the Apple store?
  • Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
  • How come my iphone 4 speaker isn't working after updating to IOS6? Its been like a couple of days since i updated my phone. Earlier i was listening to music then all of a sudden it stopped. I looked at my phone, the music was still playing but there was no sound. I can hear my ringtone and i have to use my speaker to listen to my calls. But the speakers arent working for my music, videos, keyboard clicks, phone lock, etc.
  • Has anyone had their iphone 4 glass color changed? I'm wanting to have the glass in my phone changed to a new color by a store called Ifix & Repair. Has anyone ever had this done before by anyone? Did the phone still work good after you had the glass changed?
