Having an iPhone and an iPad?
I have an iPhone, but I also really want an iPad (don't call me spoiled, I bought my own iPhone and I would buy the iPad if I got it!)
But I feel like maybe there's no point in having an iPad when I already have an iPhone, like pretty much anything the iPad can do so can the iPhone.
Do you think there's any reasons to get an iPad as well as an iPhone? Why do you think people get both?
I got both and NEVER use the iPad. Don't get it, the iPhone is equally good. I also have a MacBook pro, THAT"S what you need. So good.
The ipad just has a bigger screen. I never saw the point of a tablet. Get a smartphone for portability, and get a laptop or desktop for power.
IPads can be used as laptops, they are very easy to carry and you can use it for pretty much everything specially for work, however, i don't think you can replace the cellphone functions in an ipad, so it depends on what you really need as an user, its pretty much the same regarding apps, but there's a difference between using a smartphone and using a tablet…
All the people that I have observed using an iPad are only doing these: Web surfing, Games and sometimes taking pictures with it. My sister uses hers for music and games but mostly those stuff. You can also use it for bragging rights, lol (pathetic, right?). Haven't observed anyone doing office work on it because Microsoft's tablets are better on those.
Those are some of the things that MOST people do on their tablets. So if you think you need an iPad then go buy one.
An iPad has a bigger screen so it is better to play games on. They are still the same thing because you can take photos play games and do anything on both. An iPad is truly good to use for school because you could put your text books on it and you could take notes during class, email class mates, and contact teachers.
I have both, the ipad is great for book reading and watching movies.
Well it actually depends on what you need. Of course ipad can't beat an iphone when it comes to cellular stuffs. But for me, I bought an ipad because It has bigger screen. Good for reading books, watching movies, playing games.

I wanted to buy an iphone 5 when the 5s will be realesd because the 5 will cost less and so i wanted to ask when i buy the iphone 5 will i use the ipad often or it is better to sell it and with the money i get i buy the iphone. - What use is an ipad or ipad mini to someone with an iphone and macbook? I'm thinking of getting an ipad mini or ipad 2 for someone who already has an iphone 5 and macbook pro. I don't know how useful it will be since they are not likely to use it outside of their home and i'll be getting the non 3g version so it won't be much use when they take it out anyway.
- What development tool can I use to program in iPad for iPad and iPhone? I want program or code using my iPad for iPad. What development tool can I use? I need a tool for iPad so I can code in iPad. It seems the tools suggested require MAC. I want to code using my iPad and not in PC or MAC
