He hasn't even read my text, much less responded to it.why?
I was texting with a guy I like and we both have iphones, and he has his set to where other people can see when he has read their message. Basically, until he has read it, it says "delivered" and then when he reads it it says "read at 10:30pm" or whatever.
so he and i were texting back and forth and i really like this guy so i either wanted to somehow get us talking on the phone or hoped our conversation would continue for a long time.
he asked me a question and I answered and said something intriguing that i thought he might respond to.
But guess what, he hasn't even READ my last text. I don't get it. Do guys sometimes not even read a text until way later? (like the next day)? Or is he going to leave it unread forever? I'm used to checking my texts when i get them, not leaving them - so i don't get that
why'd he not read my texts? He always "wins" - it's like does he know this bothers me? I guess he's not into me, eh? But he's always "liking' everything i post on instagram, so i don't get it.
Added (1). Parris, I think it's rude to twist around what I'm trying to say. I was simply asking if it is customary for guys to sometimes not even read a text. I wasn't suggesting that he ought to "instantly" reply to MY texts, and I was not suggesting I was that important. I was simply WONDERING what was going on. And i do think that him not reading it sooner probably means he isn't all that interested in me, does anybody agree?
also - another idea i had was what if he does want to send me a thoughtful answer (he usually does) but is busy and doesn't want me to see that he has already read it so he is holding off so that the "read at" time is right before he actually is ready to respond…
Added (2). Floyd, thanks, but i'm asking why he did not READ the text, not answer it. Why didn't he READ it… It says the text (iMessage) is still unread.
Maybe he is doing something. It's highly unlikely that his day revolves around getting a message from you & replying to it instantly. Alot of people don't check their messages instantly & some leave them for hours before even realizing they have received a message.
If you want to talk to him on the phone then call him or invite him over.
Liking everything you post on Instagram doesn't mean he's into you.
He may have thought it didn't need a reply or he may be busy having a life and not being attached to his phone.
Don't worry about it. I hope your texts aren't as long as your question. :>)

No one here can possibly answer for him. Perhaps he lost his phone or is busy living his life [or working!] instead of being attached 24/7 to his phone. A lot of people actually do that and you might consider it as well, instead of obsessing over how to get his attention. Apparently what you're doing isn't working.
- Why Iphone 4S won't read T-mobile Sim card even though factory unlocked? I have an iphone 4S and it reads Att sim card no problem, i had the phone factory unlocked and it even said Congratulations your iPhone is unlocked after i restored it in iTunes, but all it says is no service i tried two different T-Mobile sim cards. I even checked my imei number online and it said the phone was factory unlocked. Is there anything i can try, i've never ran across something like this.
- Why hasn't internal memory on phones increased much? I got passed down an iphone 3Gs with a storage capacity of 32gb a number of years ago. Most pads don't seem to have too much more, and many phones of people I know come standard at 16gb. Considering the amount time that's passed, I would have thought that creating larger storage capacity for in a smaller space for cheaper would have taken more precedent, but as far as phones go, you still pay a decent premium for it.
- Why didn't he read the text messages? This guy I work with and I been texting each other since July 5. The last time I talked to him was around noon. It is almost midnight. He works 2 jobs and he should be off work now. I text him through my iPod touch and it says delivered. He has a iPhone. I know he likes me because he been flirting with me.
- Why can't I get my iphone to read my text to me? My husband and I have the same phone the iphone4 his will read his text to him if he touches it it gives him the option to copy or read. Mine only gives me the copy option how can I make mine read to me too?
