How to tell how many gigabytes my iphone has by looking on thw back?

How can i tell how many gigabytes my iphone has by looking on thw back?

Chances are its 16gb go to the settings app then storage or something.g should say it don't have the gb on the back like ipods

You can't. The info on the back of every iPhone is related to what country it was assembled in, China or Brazil…

The way to find out how many GB your iPhone has is to do the following:
1. Go to your iPhone home screen, then to Settings (the gear icon)
2. Then go to General
3. Then to "About"
4. Scroll down a few lines to where it says "Capacity"… There it will tell you how many GB the iPhone has.

Under Capacity, you'll see Available, which tells you how many GB you have left. Keep an eye on Available as you add more Apps, videos and photos, as they take up most of your iPhone memory.

  • Why does restoring my iphone from a backup use up so many gigabytes? I have an iphone 5 and I'm trying to restore my phone from last backup. Unfortunately, the back up is cancelled about 30 minutes in because my hard disk runs out of space. I have 10 gigs left so there should be any problem with that. I went to mobilesync folder and then to the backup folder and there's one folder there. Once you click on that folder there are thousands of files in that folder that have several modified dates on them. Basically can I just delete the old dated files?

  • How to tell how many gigs an iPhone without a SIM card has? A customer left their iPhone at my work about 7 months ago and no one has ever came forth and claimed it. So I'm going to sell it with the permission of my manager. It is an iPhone 5, and it was connected to someone's apple ID and had a lock on it so I removed the SIM card. With no access to settings or without having a box for the iPhone, how can I figure out how many gigs it has on it?
