Not sure why you tried the eSATA port, as it is not compatible.
No hint anywhere about someone trying the cord into an eSATA port, so either you are unique, or you don't have an eSATA port. Maybe some other, like a USB-c type port or even some adapter for Thunderbolt?
? A Iphone power cord from an sata port? Are you serious? Well for starters… Do not plug that power cord into anything…
