How to reset an iPhone passcode?
My brother just recently passed away. My family and I have been trying to get into his iPhone 4, but we have no idea what his passcode is. We took it to Verizon, and they told us that all we had to do was plug it into iTunes and click restore passcode. Well, when we did that, the only option I saw was restore. And the thing is, we want all his information (pictures, phone calls, texts, and etc.) to still be on his phone. We do not want this deleted. I heard you can put all the information on iTunes, and then put it back on your iPhone, but I have no idea how to do this. I desperately need help, please!
Do you know if your brother used icloud backup?
If it doesn't work go to your apple store and they will be able to open it with a snap of a finger, but if you don't have a store call the apple company and they will open it from their computers for you.
- Is there anyway I can bypass my passcode on my iPhone 4 or it's a 5 I'm not sure but I can't remember the passcode but I need it I know you can restore but I don't want to do that because I don't think I have the computer I backed it up to back then. And i don't know what update this is. Like I haven't see the emergency button there at all in any videos
