How long should I leave my wet iphone in rice?
I was pouring milk into my cereal bowl this morning, and the milk container ended up pouring all on my iphone 4S. When it got wet, it wasn't completely soaked, but it's not like it was just a splash of milk either. I think the milk managed to get in some of the cracks. I really don't think it is as bad as an iphone being dropped in water completely, so I'm thinking that I don't need to keep it in rice for as long. How long should I keep it in the rice?
Probably like, 4 days. They have actual kits made for drying out electronics that are only a couple of bucks. It probably works better than rice. Make sure you don't turn it on or if you already tried to it's probably toast. You have phone insurance, right?
Leave it. Check it in a day or so. Milk is very different than water.

Zero days. Don't put it in rice. Take it to a tech shop, let them open it up and clean it thoroughly with chemicals. This will be safer and will definitely erase any possibilities of rust in the phone. Better to stay safe!
