Water logged iphone? How long do I leave it in rice?
My iphone SE was sitting in a big puddle on the counter for about 15 min before I noticed. The phone was still in working condition but had a few dark and blurry spots on the screen. I went to get rice and the spots seemed to have spread. I put rice in a ziplock bag and completely covered my phone in the rice. The bag was sealed and I'm wondering how long I need to leave the phone inside? I need to use my phone the next day and I'm not sure if it will be alright.
Yeah the "rice trick" doesn't always work. Since you mentioned that it developed blurry and dark spots, it probably means that the LCD is water damaged. There really isn't anything you can do to "fix" the screen other than replacing it.
