How long to back up and update iphone 4?
I have iphone 4 and i need to update my phone to ios 6.0 as i still have really old version. When i plug my phone into laptop it automatically asks if i want to upgrade to ios 6.0 so i do, it says it should take about an hour or longer but when i'm waiting for it to back up it doesn't seem to be moving and i wait hours and still nothing! Do i just wait or is there something wrong i can't seem to tell wether it is moving at a very slow pace or it really isn't moving.
First of all if your device was jailbroken don't try to update through itunes your jailbrake will be gone.
secondly it depends on your internet connection speed because the operating system has to be downloaded from the apple server and that takes a long time to download and an upgrade on iphones take the max half hour when you have the O/S already downloaded.
now on the back up part just cancel the back up, unplug USB, reconnect then try again if that doesn't work restart your PC.

My iPhone 5s keeps saying I don't have enough storage but I've deleted so much I have a total of only 3 apps I downloaded and 130 pictures.
