How much does tethering cost on Orange, with an Iphone 5?

I've just got an iPhone 5 - on a £36 a month contract, with unlimited messages, and minutes and 1GB data. If I use tethering - does it just come out of my data allowance? Or am I charged more?

That comes out of the 1 GB use. Not sure if your provider charges extra for tethering some do.

THe data will come out of your 1GB a month plan. If you go over with the tethering, then you will also be charged more per KB I think it is.

Orange charge you extra for tethering unless you are on a plan that includes it

  • Will an orange pay as you go sim card work in my iphone orange contract phone? My orange phone is still in contract but could do with a different number on pay as you go as well, would rather just get the sim card and swap them over, but can always buy a cheap phone as well
  • Tethering iPhone to computer on Wi-Fi - does this use data? So the internet in my room is terrible, but for some reason my iPhone connects just fine. When I tether my iPhone (connected to Wi-Fi) to my macbook, the internet works. Because I'm using Wi-Fi on my iPhone while tethering, is this using data?
  • IPhone internet tethering Optus? On your iPhone you are able to share your data with your laptop or other devices (tethering). Basically you can use your iPhone as a 3G modem. I'm on a prepaid Optus plan that includes 5GB of data BUT Optus decides that they think we should pay $15/month to use this iPhone feature with separate data. Is there a way I can do this for free without Jailbreaking my iPhone?
  • IPhone 4S Free Tethering on iOS 6? I have the latest software on my iPhone 4S and was wondering how I can tether for free. Any help would be very great.
