How much does the iphone 4 cost every month?

I know, I'm talking about the 4. I don't have an iphone and I'm trying to get my dad to buy me one. And I'm wondering how much it will be every month? Also my phone plan is verizon.

You must be careful to not exceed your data (you are required to have a data plan), as any fraction of an additional gig is expensive. Also be careful about minutes and texts--I don't think there's a way to automatically prevent overages unless you go with the prepaid plan, which will just shut down when the limit is reached. Then there's the cost of the phone itself (you get the phone at heavy discount but not free for a 2-year commitment) and the case you should get for it, etc. If you are able to use it with wi-fi that helps a bunch. All phone companies make it easy to spend more than you plan to, so you do need to be very self-disciplined (or rich!).
