How to activate cellular data on iPhone 4S?
I've tried everything anyone as said to activate cellular data to make my phone work when I'm not connected to Wi-Fi. I've reset the network settings, I've toggled with the Wi-Fi and airplane mode settings. Nothing works. How do I fix this because I can't use apps or safari when not connected to Wi-Fi.
You have to have a data plan with your cell provider to get connected when not on Wi-Fi.
- Why does my iphone use data over night when cellular data is turned off? Every night I turn off cellular data and leave the iPhone on and one day I wake up and check my data manager and see i have already used 25 MB please help!
- When you have Wi-Fi and cellular data on at the same time, does it use cellular data? If I keep my cellular data on and also have my iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, will it use any of my cellular data?
- Taking out sim cards and cellular data on iPhone 4s? Currently I'm in a different country and do not want any unexpected charges to pop up on my bill when I return. My sim card is out but I still send emails and browse the internet using the local wi-fi from my location; since the sim card is out, I won't be charged? Also, what is cellular data? Like I said, I took out my sim card and data roaming is disabled but cellular data is turned on, I won't be charged for it being on since the sim card isn't inserted, correct?
- Is there a way to activate iPhone from home if I'm with US Cellular? So I broke my phone, but found my old phone and figured I'd just switch out the two (nothing's wrong with the old one). How would I need to go about that without actually having to go to a US Cellular store?
