It turns out that my next door neighbor's son has his iPod, xbox, laptop, and iphone connected to my internet. I have a MAC so please tell me how to kick him off or ban him. Any thing works i just want him off!

I ALREADY HAVE A PASSWORD!

You need to password protect your router - your ISP tech support should be able to help you do this. Basically, it involves logging in to the router and then establishing a password key, a WPA key (there are other types). The actual details may be different for each different ISP and/or router.

If you are saying it is already password protected and he has cracked it, you will have to reset it to a better password - get the tech to help you.

If you are saying that your Mac is password protected, that's good, but it has nothing to do with how your router is set up.

If you can control your Wi-Fi router there will be a section where you can list MAC addresses that can't connect… Or alternately you can list the ones that can.

Exactly how you do that depends on what router you are using. Check the manufacturer's instructions. (by the way MAC address has nothing to do with what type of system they have… Every TCPIP device has one).

Put a password on your Wi-Fi so they can't log into it or hack it.

Just change the password, it will kick everyone off. You create a new wireless profile on your laptop, and you are the only one who can get in then…

Well, apparently he knows the password. So change it.

Change the security and encryption to WPA2, create a new password for the Wi-Fi, employ MAC filtering if available, and also change the default admin password (the one you use to access the router settings) Also hide the SSID of the Wi-Fi.

  • My iPhone keeps turning on and off like it turns on and off. Can someone tell me? Okay tbms it turns on and off on and off and then sometimes it shows a red screen for a few seconds then off again and dies out. It's not the battery because I got that changed thinking that it was the cause and it wasn't. So is there anything someone can help me with? The repair guy tried restoring it through iTunes he said it didn't work either it just won't come on it doesn't go pass the Apple logo before shutting off and on again and dying out
  • My iPhone is stuck on the apple boot logo. How do I get it off? I have an iPhone 4 (jailbroken on 5.1.1), and I decided to let the battery die and charge it up again. When I started to let it charge, it started up with the boot logo and it started showing the spinning wheel loader and it kept repeating. I manually restarted it, and this is now happening. Is there any way to get out of it? (Without updating to iOS 6 )
  • In nfl pro 2014 app for iPhone how do I kick far? Ok so the app nfl pro 2014 is fun and all but when I do field goals they don't go straight and when I kick off the don't go far
  • How to tell if my iPhone is hacked and how can I kick them out if so? Sometimes I hear random "crowd" noises in the background of my phone and it creeps the hell out of me. It sounds like a lot of people talking and I've heard it more than once. I was texting my friend and no apps were in the background. Is it certain my phone is hacked? And if so, can I kick them off my phone?
