Are you asking if you can change the angle of view, as in using an optical zoom?
If so, the iPhone 5S does not have an optical zoom. You will need to crop the image later in post production to achieve the same angle of view of a longer lens.
The size drive really has nothing to do with a cameras angle of view.
The camera sensor on the iPhone is very small (1/3.2'' sensor), so you can't expect to crop the image files much before you start to lose resolution.
