How to delete an email from a used Iphone 4?
I recently bought a used Iphone 4 from Kijiji. The recent owner didn't delete their email account from the phone and it is still in the phone with all the contacts etc. Is there anyway to delete the email without the password?
You could reset the phone to factory settings in settings. Or see if there's a way to log out.
Since he basically just gave you the phone without restoring it (hopefully it not being on iOS 7*) you could do a restore to wipe the phone entirely & then you could sign into your (should be ready to go) Apple ID & continue from there.
*I say hopefully not on iOS 7 due to its Activation Lock feature which prevents someone from activating the iPhone without a proper wipe of the previous Apple ID associated with it in cases of theft or loss. If that is the case should get into contact with the previous owner to either have him/her do a proper wipe of the device or provide the credentials necessary.
- Why doesn't email delete on the gmail server when I delete them on iPhone? I've removed the archive feature on iPhone. So I get the delete option for my emails. I'm using the EXCHANGE server on iPhone for email.
- I don't know the email I used for my Twitter account? As the question states, I don't know the password or email address I used for my Twitter account and I'm trying to log in via my computer. I'm, however, logged in through my iPhone, so I'm wondering if there's a way I can retrieve my password/email through the Twitter app?
- How to open images in my email sent to me on an iphone (via email)? Someone sent me images to my email via their iphone. I can't open the images. How can I open them, using a computer to open the email/images?
- How come Outlook email doesn't show up in my iPhone email app? The Outlook email doesn't show in the email app, but all other email shows no problem. I've even downloaded other email apps, and it doesn't show in those either. I've deleted the account in settings and put it back in and that doesn't work. How can I fix this.
