How to delete contacts from an iPhone 4s?
Okay. My cousin got a iPhone and he asked me how to delete a contact. Well I have one too and I went to his contact and the edit button wasn't there on any of his contacts and that's how I delete mine. Does anyone know how to get the edit button there?
Just go to the contact you want to delete, then just swipe to the side and a little button will appear that says delete. Just click that and the contact is gone.

I have deleted the contact but when I go and send a new text their name still pops up, but when you press the name to text them the number comes up. For example if the name comes up "Sally" and you tap it it'll show up as "(123)456-7890." But I want to delete the contact completely! How? I have already deleted their text as well. I have the phone number of an old friend stored on my iPhone and they also show on my whatsapp contact list… Does this mean that they still have my phone number stored in their phone and also have whatsapp installed on their phone? The chat thing says they haven't been seen since 28th sept? If they didn't have my number on their phone would they still show as one of my contacts on whatsapp?
