Whatsapp contacts - if they're onnm contacts am I on theirs?
I have the phone number of an old friend stored on my iPhone and they also show on my whatsapp contact list… Does this mean that they still have my phone number stored in their phone and also have whatsapp installed on their phone? The chat thing says they haven't been seen since 28th sept? If they didn't have my number on their phone would they still show as one of my contacts on whatsapp?
Nope, it just means that you have her as a contact. So you wouldn't know if she has you as a contact. But is she is in your 'favourites' on Whatsap it does mean that she has Whatsap. But you could message your friend and then they'd know that you too are on whatsap.
Nope. They can't access any information unless they have your number stored or the two of you belong to a mutual group.

- WhatsApp says I have no contacts after reinstall? My WhatsApp was having trouble updating statuses and refreshing my favourites page so I deleted the app and reinstalled it. After I reinstalled it says I have no contacts with WhatsApp, and it just gives me the oppurtunity to invite them to get it, however I know that they already have it. How do I fix this problem? The WhatsApp version I have is for iPhone.
- My aunt and uncle have the same Apple ID. I think they need separate ones, do they? I've told them to get separate ones in the event that they need to back up their phones or get new ones. Don't they need separate ones? They hardly back up their phones or hook up their iPhones to the computer.
